Amazon.com Product Description
Elite Force is the ultimate in sci-fi first-person shooter action, using the Quake 3: Arena engine--the best 3-D shooter engine in existence. The first game based on the Star Trek: Voyager universe, Elite Force pits players against a multitude of Star Trek enemies, including the relentlessBorg and never-before-seen aliens in intense single-player and multiplayer combat missions. Elite Force has eight missions, plus between-missions gameplay on the Voyager ship. Each mission consists of multiple levels, ranging from two to five. All away missions take place on other alien spaceships or space stations.

5 out of 5 stars Just like joining the crew.   January 16, 2001

The single player game is VERY immersive, putting you in the role of Ensign Munro, second in command of the Hazard Team. You get mission briefings, weapon training on the holodeck, and even time to hang out in the break room before being sent on Away Missions to insure the survival of your ship. Player models are quite good, with perhaps the most realistic faces I've seen in a computer game, with lips that seem to match the spoken dialogue exactly. Having nearly all the Voyager cast members for voice actors helps as well. The missions, for the most part, aren't too difficult for anyone with FPS experience but are still a lot of fun.

The multiplayer game, started from a separate application, is basically Quake 3 with new maps, skins, weapons, and a few enhancements to the after battle reports, like your most used weapon and who killed you the most. I think it's better looking and has better weapons, but that's a personal preference, and it seems to need more CPU power than Quake 3.

Great game. strong story plot. cool mini movies. Graphics are ok, but took a while to load on my old imac. Over all a great game for trekies and gamers alike.

This game is the best ever seen...
The graphics are verry goods... The 3D action is excellent...
I didnt finish the game... But so far it's the best Star Trek game ever created...

Better work with a G4 computer...
Do not work with PowerBook G3...
(Unless you have a good 3D graphic card)...

5 out of 5 stars Great Game   July 12, 2003

This game is quite incredible. The sound effects and music are astonishingly good, you feel like your really where your supposed to be. The graphics are nothing special but pretty good considering it was made about a year or two ago. The guns are awsome, the final boss is actually HARD what a concept. It took me only three days to beat, but thats only cause I played it non-stopt all those days. You always want to know what happens next, which brings me to the story line, which is very good. The missions are of a broad range, ranging from all out kill kill kill, to stealth missions where you have to be quiet. GREAT GAME BUY IT. YOU WONT REGRET IT. The multiplayer is quite good too.
