This game is the best Original Star Trek series game i have ever played. Originality and great missions with surprise endings make me want to play this game over and over again.

5 out of 5 stars ruling graphics for the system specs   December 6, 2002

This game is really fun and runs on any system 90mhz or higher.
for the specs this game rules and the graphics are amazing if you buy this game be warned that no NT systems work. but if it works you will be amazed compared to the starwars games of the time. And it's really cheap for the gameplay but theres no saport anymore or website for help.

5 out of 5 stars terrific...cheap... BUT IT   April 29, 2003

This game is simply put, an incredible game. I was amazed that it was only five dollars. Not only are the missions difficult, fun, and creative, but the story is also fun to follow. You end up wanting to know what happens next, so the missions have meaning to you. Your crew becomes a family, and you actually feel for them when they get down. If anyone needs any help with this game, contact me at Jasono60@aol.com, Im quite good at this game, and I know how hard it is sometimes. It took me a LONG time to get by some of the missions, chances are, you have the same problem i had. I had to beat it without a stratagy guide though, contact me with problems.

4 out of 5 stars An excellent game   August 14, 2006

I have had this game for several years, I bought it when I was running a 200mhz with 64 mb ram back in 1997. Even back then, this game played extremely smooth with 64mb ram and a 8mb video card. The game play seems difficult at first like some of the other reviewers have stated. But if you stick to some basic controls, your ship is usually durable enough to get you thru any mission. The movie sequences are very cool and the games background music is very true to film scores, but also very original and haunting. Give this game a try for the 5.00 bucks.

Someone should ask if they perfected it for XP, last time I tried it had a lot of problems with XP. I still play it occasionally on an older system running ME and it runs OK.

The original version was on 5 cd roms, I can only hope they have condensed it to fewer discs now-a-days.

I really like the graphics and idea of this game. I am a LONG time Star Trek fan. I like the characters and interactions between them rather than the glories of battle. (I'd make a lousy Klingon)I'm not much of a shoot em up game player. I found the interface for controlling the ship during missions to be too complex and hard to memorize. I got stuck on the 2nd half of the first mission! I get the game out peroidically and try to re learn the controls and try again, but even with the strategy guide, I am completely stuck.I wish I could bypass the battles and get on with the story.
